Oily Skin!!! Thats Me

I just thought I would pass along a helpful tip that I have run across within the last week or so.

I have the worlds oiliest skin and I can thank my mom for that! I also got the oily hair from her too! Anywho so I hate that when I put my makeup on about 30 mins later my face is all oily looking. I went to Sephora http://sephora.com/ the other day and asked around to see what I could find. I have tried EVERYTHING. So this lady was showing me all this stuff and everything she picked up was at least $40.00 so I thought I am going to ask for some samples and then if these things work then I will come back and get some. Well she game me this Murad Oil-Control Mattifer to try. I was thinking ok but all the other Mattifers I have tried never work. Well I tried it and I was surprised that this one actually works. So if you have oily skin you might want to go to Sephora and get a sample of this and try it.

CRAZY weekend!!

So this weekend was my friend Traci's Birthday. So we decided to take her out to Willy D's. I hadnt been there in a long time and I think everytime I go it get crazier and crazier. This time was pretty crazy but fun! I saw a different side of my friends that I had never seen before. Thats always fun. So here are some picture from our outing out Saturday night.

This girl had a list of things she was trying to get done. She had to find so many guys that would let them put lipstick on them and then give her a kiss. Well if you know my dad this is NOTHING like him at all. We were all surprised when he said ok I will let you do it.

This was the most fun I have had in a long while. This was long over due. I think were going to go back in a few weeks for my moms Birthday she just doesnt know it yet!!!

My Craft Room

This is a little bit of what my craft room looks like. I have done a little more to it but havent taken any pictures of it. Maybe one day I will get around to doing that. The only other major things I have done are hang more pictures up and actually put pictures in the frames that have been hanging on my walls for months with nothing in them. Its also a little cleaner than when I took these pictures also. Thats about it for my craft room. I dont spend much time in there. I love making things but I never have anyone to give things to after I make them. One day hopefully things will slow down and I can spend a little more time in here and actually get some stuff done.

Timing is everything and Friends

So I still dont have a song or today and I know that its Wednesday. I really will one day get better at posting songs on Wednesdays.

Last week and this week have been pretty busy for me and for most everyone else I know too. It usually is when its a holiday weekend. My memorial weekend didnt start off to a good start. I woke up on Friday with a sharp pain in my right side. I couldnt move it hurt so bad. I ended up having to go to the ER. After spending several hours there it turns out that I had Kidney stones. So they gave me lots of different meds to take and sent me home. The good thing was they were small enough to pass so I didnt have to have any surgery or anything.

While I was in the ER my good friend showed up. His wife called him and told him that I was in the ER. Once my pain meds finally kicked in I was glad that he was there. He said that he hadnt been to work yet. His son had a deal at school that morning so he told work that he was going to be late coming in. So he said that he would go up to the hospital and check on me before he went to work b/c they were already expecting him to be late. I got to thinking Gods timing is pretty cool how it all works out. While he was there he kept things pretty entertaining.

Then Monday we had a cookout at our house with that same friend and his family. It was back to work Tuesday. This is going to be one short week. Short but very busy week. I have something going every single night. Tonight my dads cousins are in from Colorado and were going out to dinner with them. Thursday night I am going to a party at a friends house. Friday night I am going to a concert/baseball game. Saturday its my friends wife's birthday so they are coming to the house for dinner and then after that we are headed out for drinks!! So I have a very busy week/weekend.

I like it when I have lots going on. It seems like when I dont have much going on time goes by so slow.

Drama

I know its been a long while. I have like one person that I know of that reads this. She doesnt read it hardly at all anymore. So its hard for me to keep it updated.

My life is full of Drama right now. Isnt it funny how you can do things the same way for a long while then all of a sudden they become an issue. Thats what I am going through right now.

My best friend has a new boyfriend. So now I pretty much have to schedule time to talk to her. I wish there was a balance between the two but there isnt. I am the one that is having to sacrifice in this situation. I guess the had thing for me is friends are so important to me so I couldnt see doing that to my friends. Why cant you have the best of both worlds? I just keep telling myself that someday it will be like it was, but then again that day may be too late.

Then another issue that I am having is my best guy friend seems to be getting lots of attention from my other friendships. It seems like everyone is getting jealous of my friendship with him and would rather see me tell him to him the road. THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I have never felt more alone than I have the last few days. I was talking to his wife about this and she keeps telling me not to worry about it. She told me that he isnt going anywhere and that I mean too much to him for that to happen. She told me that I couldnt ask for a better best friend. I told her I dont get it. I dont get why all of a sudden he is an issue. I was friends with him last year and they year before. So why now?? Why within the last few months??

I know God has a purpose for my life and all of this going on. I just dont know what it is. I have been waiting. I just wish all the Drama would be over.

The best weekend ever!!

Well its been awhile so I figured I would make a real post. This weekend was the most fun I have had in a really long while. It was a way over due weekend. It started with my good friend Brittany coming to pick my up on Friday night. We first headed out for drinks and then our plan was to go to dinner. When we went for drinks I didnt expect to stay there for 2 hours but we did and laughed and laughed some more. The laughing could have been from the one too many drinks that we had. When we first got the FCG we saw our pastor so that was pretty funny. He was eating dinner with his family. When they left he came and asked me who was driving home. That was pretty funny. I got to thinking its pretty sad when just about all the waiters at FCG know Brittany and I by name now. So after our two hours had passed when finally got out bar tab and it was 50 BUCKS. HOLLY COW!!! So we left and went to dinner and the laughing continued!! You could say by this point I had too much to drink. While we were eating dinner my best friends wife calls and she can tell whats going on. NEVER in my life have a drunk texted anyone until that night. When I got off the phone I was texting my best friend and the next day I found out they wernt making sense at all. So this was Friday night. My Fun continued Saturday night as well. It was my best friends birthday so I went to his house for dinner. Some how during the night it turned into pick on me night and everyone was giving me crap. Then I was good at saying the wrong things at the wrong time. At one point I had everyone rolling b/c they were laughing so hard at me. I think we finally ended up leaving around midnight and my stomach and face hurt so bad from laughing by the time I did leave. Its friends like these that I like have around. I can act stupid around and let them see a different side of me and not care. I have the stupidest laugh and when I get going its hard to control and I dont let people hearing it. Well this night everyone heard it.

Tonight our church had a 50's style dinner and everyone dresses up like they were from the 50's. It was so fun seeing everyone dressed up and listing to all the music from way back when. They had a few people preform. There are four guys that do soggy bottom boys from the movie O brother where art thou. They have you in tears when they get done. So my weekend ended with even more laughter from watching them preform. I have to say this weekend was the best weekend I have had in a really long while. I am ready to do it all again next weekend!!

Who am I??

Like I have said in many post before the past few weeks of my life have been turned upside down. Its starting to get right side up again but slowly very slowly. I have heard this song many time before and tonight it really hit me. I think it hit me different b/c of how my life has been the last few week and all the pain I have gone through and still and going through. The third line that says "would care to feel my pain," got me to thinking when I am hurting and going through a hard time and I am in pain so in my heavenly father. Im not going through in alone. He feel all the same pain that I am feeling at that very same moment. There is someone who does know exactly how I am feeling. Another thing that got me to thinking was the chorus of the song. Its really amazing if you think about it how we are this little piece here on earth, and he still hears us when we call to him. We think that we get lost and mixed in with the rest of the world but when dont he hears us when we call.

Change is hard, really hard.

Wow its been a CRAZY last few weeks. The last dew weeks have really opened up my eyes and have made me see that I need to learn how to be my own friend. Here are a few pictures of some friends that I have and and some I still have. I have had a wonderful life growing up. One thing that was hard and still is, is learning how to be my own friend. I know in the end Im not going to walk out on myself like most of the people above. I look at these pictures and I know most people would probably toss them. Trust me I have thought about it. But, at the times they were taken they were good memories. They still are good memories. I hate that these people arent in my life anymore. I dont believe in best friends b/c my whole life people have walked out on me b/c I am "different." That same thing is happening again. God always has someone there for me when he knows someone if fixing to do this to me. He knows way ahead of me that its going to happen. I think I am not the type of person that is suppose to have a lot of close friends at one time. I have always had one close friend at a time. Im not sure I would know what to do if that did happen to me.

The girl in the picture right above (in the gray shirt) I got to know about 6 years ago and she became one of my really good friends. We hung out all the time and as time went by she began to change. The big 21 was starting to approach and that meant going out to clubs and drinking all hours of the night. Well she started lying to me and ditching me to go to the clubs so she could drink and all that. Thats one thing I cant stand in a person is when they are dishonest or hide things. Well she became friends with the other girl who is trouble with a capitol T and they decided to move in together. I knew that was going to be bad when I found that out. I told her that we probably wouldnt be friends when they moved in together. That was in July and I was right. I have spoken to her since. She hasnt looked back and hasnt tried to call and see how I am or anything. I find out things from other people about what she is up to and you know I thank God that she isnt in my life right now. I dont agree with her lifestyle right now. Maybe one day we can be friends again.

The girl in the very top picture is my "best" friend. I put that in quotes b/c like I said I dont believe in best friends and this past two weeks has given be even more reason not to believe in them. We have been friends for 7 years. I know that Ashley would do anything for me and I would for her. But, the truth is we are growing apart too. I see it and I have seen it for some time. Im not sure if she does or if she does I dont think she wasnt to believe it. We got in a fight I guess you would call it and its been like high school all over again. I said somethings to her that hurt her feelings. I told her I was sorry for that but it was good enough. We cant seem to move on from it. I am the type of person that I have had some much happen that I move on and dont worry about things. Tomorrow is a new/different day type of person. Ashley isnt like that, I dont know what else she want or needs to be able to move on but I do know that I hurt her feelings and I am really sorry for that. We went from talking 20 times a day to talking maybe 3 times within the last week. I call and call and get nothing no answer or call back. I have done all I can do. I cried myself to sleep last night thinking about us. I always thought out of all people this wouldnt be one of the ones that "walk out" on me. I guess I was wrong, I know God has a plan for this I just dont know what it is. I hate when this happens the pain of waiting to see whats ahead kills me. She has and is getting to know a new group of people and I am happy for her. I am just sad that I dont have my "best" friend around anymore. I always thought we would be friends and that our families would be friends but I guess I was wrong with that one. I guess the hardest part with all this is having so much I want to tell my "best" friend but wanting to go to her first like it use to always be. Its sad that we cant be apart of each others lives. I guess once again I was just a "stepping" stone in someones life till they moved on and found something better.

Sorry for all the ramblings, I just had some stuff that I needed to say. So now I am learning to be my friend. CHANGE I HATE IT AND IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO COME AT MY EXPENSE.

I am loved

I AM LOVED!!! I am loved and it took me awhile to figure that out. I have been going to church my whole life and have always heard that every time you feel like your alone your always have one person that you can always talk to. Someone that is never going to leave you and someone who always knows when something is wrong without you even having to tell them whats going on. That is true and thats hard a times to remember to lean on him when times do get hard. I know I am loved in that regard but I know I am also loved with my friends. I know that I have friends that truly love me. I knew this but I didnt really know this till this past weekend. I went over to a friends house for dinner. One thing that I do is pay attention to the smallest things that no one else would get. Well I am always telling him how I am freezing. I am ALWAYS cold. I freeze in the middle of July. So when we go to eat dinner, his wife asked him if they had to have the fire going and he said he did that just for me b/c I am always cold. When he said that, that made my night. I was like aw you do listen to me. So then we go to eat dinner and were sitting down and I look at where my plate it and I usually always use a straw. I look down and there was a straw next to my plate. I was like you even got me a straw (talking to his wife) she was like no he actually did that. I know those were two small things but to me they were big. I was like I am so loved. I was thinking to myself who else would have paid that much attention to me and knew what I needed.

So then the feeling loved didnt stop a few days after at the office, everyone went to get lunch and they brought it back well this one guy in the office was getting my stuff out and he just starts helping me. He opened the stuff that I needed without me having to ask. I know people care about me and like to help me out but I have really felt it the last few weeks. I love having that someone who makes me feel like I am loved. You know how they say its the small things in life? Well it really is the small things in life.

Start paying attention to the small things in life and see how it makes you feel loved.
